Carl -- everyone's favorite throwaway non-entity -- began life in the pages of my book Understanding Comics. When I wanted to try some experimental interactive comics, Carl seemed game, so I exhumed the little bugger and got to work. Just two of these Carl Comics so far, but be on the lookot for more in the future.
